What Can You Do

Everyone eats food. But food is much more than sustenance for many people. It can often symbolize what we care about and who we are.  Families, friends and colleagues have come together around food since the beginning of history. However, people have different accessibility to, and make different choices about the food they eat. We believe that people have the right to food that they believe best supports the needs of their families and communities. The combined interest of the public has the greatest power to sustain a viable and abundant food system in our region. That power grows in each person when (s)he asks “where does my food come from,” and when (s)he begins to care how it is produced and traded.
