The working mission and goals of the Policy Committee:
To be able to make informed statements about food policy issues and to recommend and influence policy change that supports small and local farmers and food entrepreneurs, as well as eaters in southeastern Michigan and throughout the state. More specifically, we aim to compile and make accessible information and resources that provide data, models, and cases to inform policy recommendations
