Michael Score Agricultural Agent, MSU Extension, Washtenaw and Lenawee Counties
Michael Score serves as the agricultural agent for Michigan State University Extension in Washtenaw and Lenawee Counties. Through collaboration with the Michigan Coalition of Black Farmers he also provides assistance in Wayne County to urban leaders who are working to re-open Detroit’s Chene Ferry Municipal Market. Mr. Score is skilled in design of production agriculture research, public meeting facilitation, public speaking, program planning, and team building. Mr. Score has extensive training in agronomy, public policy deliberation, conflict management, business planning, adult education, grain marketing, leadership development, and program evaluation. As part of the project Facilitation Team, Mr. Score is working to ensure farmers and citizens are informed of the project and aware of how to best achieve their desired outcomes from the project.
