Mr. Shane has been Lenawee County Extension Director since June 1, 2003. Based in Lenawee County, he has also covered Monroe, Washtenaw, Wayne, Livingston, Oakland and Macomb Counties as an Area of Expertise (AoE) Livestock Extension Educator since 1997. He graduated from MSU in May 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science.  He lives on an organic crop and livestock farm in Manchester with his wife and daughter (he is expecting a new addition to the family in mid July.) As part of the Food System Economic Partnership, Mr. Shane represents the Lenawee County MSU Extension resources and regional livestock interests.
